TWAINis a software protocol that regulates communication between software applications and imaging devices (including X-Ray and intraoral cameras). Clicking on that button, launches the imaging application and loads the selected patient from Dent-O-Soft. When the bridge is activated, a button appears in Dent-O-Soft toolbar. The patient information is stored both in Dent-O-Soft database and the imaging application database.
